Network Setup

Use this option to select User and Buddy numbers; and a network.
NOTE: You and your buddy must be properly defined on your UDI-28™ and your buddy's UDI-28™
respectively, and you must both be on the same network to be able to communicate using the
UDI-28.
1. Select Net to define a network
to use, and press Enter.
2. Select a network from 1 or 2,
and press Enter.
3. Select User to define the user
name/number for the UDI-28™
and press Enter.
4. Select a User (named or
numbered) from the 28 users,
and press Enter.
5. Select Buddy to define your
buddy number and press
Enter.
6. Select a User (named or
numbered) from up-to 28
individual users, boat, or all
users and press Enter.
This will be your default for
sending a message to.
