Active LED does not flash when using on-board SATA
controller (ICH10) with an SSD
Bug ID 15799738
When the solid state drive (SSD) is connected directly to the on-board SATA controller
(ICH10), the SSD LED is ON when it is idle, and OFF when the SSD is busy (reading or
writing). By design, the LED does not flash during SSD activity as is normal with HDDs.
Affected hardware:
Sun Fire X4170 M2 Server
Sun Fire X4270 M2 Server
Workaround:
This is expected behavior, and can be safely ignored.
Fan could fail if AC power is removed then restored in five
seconds or less
Bug ID 15686289

FB/FM# fan component might be shown as faulted.
Affected hardware:

Sun Fire X4270 M2 Server
Workaround:
Allow at least 10 seconds for AC power to discharge before restoring power.
