Master Job mode

The Master Job mode contains two convenient
operations (called "Jobs") — one letting you initialize
(reset) the Master data, and the other letting you
transmit your edited Master data to an external MIDI
device or computer.
◆ Basic Procedure
1
In the Master Play mode, select a Master you wish
to execute the Job on.
2
Press the [JOB] button to enter Master Job Mode.
3
Select the Job menu you wish to execute by
pressing the [F1] or [F4] button.
4
Set the parameters for executing the Job.
5
Press the [ENTER] button. (The display prompts
you for confirmation.)
6
Press the [INC/YES] button to execute the Job.
After the Job has been completed, a "Completed"
message appears and operation returns to the
original display.
n To cancel the Job, press the [DEC/NO] button.
For Jobs that take longer to process, you will see the
message "Executing..." during processing. If you switch
off the power of the MOTIF while this message is
displayed, you risk corrupting your data.
7
Press the [MASTER] button to exit from Master
Job mode and return to Master Play mode.
• For detailed instructions on steps #3 - #4, see the
explanations below.
