8. SAFETY
There are some risks which must be taken into
account when operating your solid fuel fireplace,
regardless of the make. These risks may be
minimized if the instructions and recommendations
provided in this manual are followed.
Below, is a series of recommended rules and tips,
but above all, we recommend that common sense
is used:
a ) Keep all flammable materials, such as furniture,
curtains, clothing, etc. at a minimum safety
distance of 0.92 m.
b) Ash should be emptied into a metal container
and immediately removed from the house.
c) Liquid fuels should never be used to light your
fireplace. Keep any flammable liquids away from
the fireplace (Petrol, kerosene, alcohol, etc.).
d) Regularly inspect the chimney and clean it as
required. Likewise, check the condition of the
gaskets, glass, screws, etc.
e) It should not be positioned close to flammable
walls or which have any type of coating which is
likely to deteriorate or become deformed due to
temperature (varnishes, paint, etc.). The same
precaution should be taken with the hot air
grilles, which should not be positioned on
flammable elements.
f)
Protect hands with gloves or other insulating
material, as the opening and closing controls get
hot during operation.
When installing the C-10 stack the following
installation recommendations must be followed
for your safety:
1) The base where you are going to place the
Fireplace must have a flat surface, free of any
unevenness that may prevent the fireplace from
resting firmly. The supporting base must be made
from heat-resistant materials.
2)
The cavity where the C-10 is inserted must
be completely free of rubble and waste materials
that could catch fire while the fireplace is in
operation.
3) The entire inside of the cavity where the C-10 is
to be inserted must be suitably insulated or made
from
materials
that
temperatures.
4) If insulation has to be positioned inside the
cavity, it must never block the ventilation grilles.
The insulation should never envelop the
insertable fireplace, which would cause it to
break

to
high
REPLACEMENT OF THE SUPPLY CABLE
If the supply cable is damaged, it should be
replaced by the manufacturer, S.A.T. or qualified
personnel in order to avoid risks.

Liability for defective manufacture will be
submitted to the criteria and verification by its
technicians, whereby responsibility is limited to
repair or replacement of the products, excluding
work and deterioration that this repair may cause.
¡WARNING! While the fireplace is in operation
the metal parts can reach high temperatures.
Your hands must be protected with fireproof
mittens if you wish to handle it.
