the intermittent combustion system
The C-10 series hearth is an open fireplace.

installed, the fireplace is sealed and the regulation

the
recommendations:
- MOVING the regulation lever from right to left, a
greater air flow is provided for combustion.
(See Figure).
- TO ASSIST lighting, it is recommended to move
the burn regulation lever fully to the Right.
It is essential to have plentiful load for lighting.
The following loads are in accordance with the
heat requirements.
It is advisable to leave the fireplace door slightly
ajar to avoid the formation of condensation and
the glass fogging during the first few minutes of
operation.
Once the fireplace is operating at a normal rate
and the chimney is fully heated, we can regulate
the burn by means of the regulation lever. In this
way, if we fully close the air shutter, the burn is
slower and it becomes brisker when we open the
air shutter.

On the upper part of the front glass, there is
no seal to allow the introduction o fair so that the
glass is cleaned during burning. This air intake is
constant and cannot be regulated. This air
intake also allows a second burn to take place in
the upper section of the appliance.

grille. This intake is fixed. The primary regulation
platen is closed.
Moving the regulation plated as described in
the previous steps, enables a greater air intake to
the burn. This intake influences the lower section
of the log retainer, which in turn divides it into two
independent draughts, one going towards the
lower glass section and the other towards the
centre of the cast iron base, offering the dual
function of cleaning the glass and strengthening
the burn.
