    General Information General Information It is very important that you read the User Guide carefully as it contains detailed information on installation, programming and WARNING operational issues which you will need to be aware of to ensure the Care Phone operates properly. Following is a list of some of the important issues and important warnings which you need to be aware of.

    Installation Installation Recommandations • Do not expose the phone to direct sunlight or excessive temperature. • Operating temperature between + 5 °C and + 40 °C. • Your phone must be installed at least 1 meter away from radio equipment such as television, cell phone, etc. NOTE: Phone should not be mounted at a height greater than 2 m. Telephone installation • Your phone should be placed on a flat surface for more stability. Plug the coiled cord into the handset (A) and into the socket on the left side of the phone (B).

    General Use General Use Make a call • Pick up the handset or press the key. • Dial the number using the keypad. • To end the call : Return the handset to the base or press the key. Call from memories or emergency number (SOS) • Pick up the handset or press key.

    General Use Set handset volume and audio-boost During handset conversation, 2 modes of amplification are available: • Standard mode Press to increase or decrease (4 levels). • Audio boost mode (extra strong up to + 30dB) During handset conversation, press the key. Press this button again to stop amplification. A slider on the back of the phone (AMPLIFY) is used to always activate the audio boost function.

    = pulse = tone Express Warranty (Australia) This Express Warranty is provided by Oricom International Pty Ltd ABN 46 086116 369, Unit 1, 4 Sovereign Place, South Windsor NSW 2756, herein after referred to as “Oricom”. Oricom products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Page 10 Oricom will where possible repair and if not replace the faulty productor part thereof. All component parts removed under this Express Warranty become the property of Oricom. In the unlikely event that your Oricom product has a recurring failure, Oricom may always, subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, at its discretion, elect to provide you with a replacement product of its choosing that is at least equivalent to your product in performance.
