Correct use

The combi switchbox with integrated 3/2-way pilot valve is available as GEMÜ 4221
(for quarter turn actuators) and as GEMÜ 4222 (for linear actuators).
It has a microprocessor controlled intelligent position sensor as well as an analogue travel
sensor system (potentiometer) which is positively connected with the actuator spindle by
means of a mounting kit (spring, operating bush).
The valve end positions and the integrated travel sensor can be controlled via the electrical
connections.
The pneumatic valve actuator is directly activated by one or two integrated 3/2-way pilot
valves.
It is no longer necessary to mount an external pilot valve.
As well as the electrical position feedback and error analysis a visual signal is emitted by
LEDs that can be seen from above.
The GEMÜ 4221 / 4222 is suitable for use as defined in the data sheet.
