Emergency Suspend Mode (Group A)

This mode can be requested by the utility or Energy Management System (EMS) to cause the appliance to cease
using energy for a short term. If the ALARM key or POWER key is touched during Emergency Suspend Mode the
mode will end and the appliance will return to the previous active mode. The Emergency Suspend Mode will also
automatically time out ten (10) minutes after it is initiated.
The smart grid icon will flash and the small LED digit will display an "E".

Demand Response Level Mode (Group A)

This mode allows utilities to notify the appliance of various levels of requested load shedding to which the appliance
will respond as they are requested with appropriate levels of energy reduction (levels are 1 - 4).
Any key touch will exit Demand Response Mode/event and return the appliance to the previously active set points.
The smart grid icon will be on and the small LED digit will display the DR level, no display for DR 0.

Long Vacation Mode (Group B)

During this mode the unit displays "VA Ln" instead of temperatures. There is reduced food preservation and very
low energy consumption designed for long term non-use of the appliance (Example: vacation home type use).
The smart grid icon will be on and the letters "VA Ln" will be displayed instead of temperatures.
