8.12 Changing the EMC filter
NB! Use the CST to check the functions before
dismantling.
Always replace a damaged EMC filter with a new
one.

Dismantle the battery housing as described in
"6 Basic dismantle/assembly".
Unplug the connector from the control unit.

Loosen the cables from the connector at the
battery housing end with a small flat screwdriver.
Make sure the wings on both sides of the
connector have been pressed in and then pull the
cable from the connector.

Disconnect the wires (A, gray), (B, black) and (C,
red) from the motor and extract them from the EMC
filter.

Thread the wires through the EMC filter (D).
NB! Thread the wires from the inside through
the EMC-filter twice.
Press the cabling into the connector with (A, gray)
at the top, followed by (B, black) in the middle and
(C, red) at the bottom.

Make sure the wings on both sides of the connec-
tor are protruding slightly so they hook onto the
sides of the connector.

Assemble the battery housing as described in
"6 Basic dismantle/assembly".
