*1: When you insert a photograph as it is and perform a scan, it may be damaged or it may not be
scanned successfully.
● Avoid placing the scanner near walls or objects since a document is output from the back side of the
scanner.
Allow enough space about half the size of the document to be scanned as a guideline.
For the ADF paper chute (feeder)
Multiple documents can be loaded.

Pull out the chute extension according to the length of the documents.

Load documents in the ADF paper chute (feeder).
Face the front side (scanning side) of a document upwards and load the top end of the document head-first.
ATTENTION
● Remove all paper clips and staples.
● Reduce the number of documents when documents are not fed into the scanner or overlapped
documents are fed.

Adjust the side guides to the width of the documents.
Move the side guides so that there is no space between the side guides and the documents.
