The airbag warning light (K75) comes out.

Check deactivation of the corresponding airbag
units: Passenger-side front airbag is switched
off see fault No. 01280; Passenger-side side
airbag is switched off see fault No. 01285.
- If other faults appear in the display, they
should be rectifi ed according to the fault
table ⇒ page 01-12.
- Separate vehicle system tester V.A.G 1552.
For vehicles ä 07.00:
- Insert orange information medium into the
tester connection.
Note:
♦ Information medium must be inserted until
airbag activation
Continued for all vehicles:
- Switch on ignition.
The airbag warning light (K75) comes on at fi rst
for about 4 seconds and then fl ashes for approx.
12 seconds. This indicates that an ignition circuit
is deactivated.
