Adaptation of the ignition keys with radio
remote control
Notes:
♦ only for control unit with radio remote con-
trol ⇒ page 01-48.
♦ If new or additional ignition keys are required,
they must be adapted to the control electron-
ics of the immobiliser and convenience sys-
tem.
♦ All, i.e. all available ignition keys must be
adapted.
♦ The number of already adapted keys is dis-
played when the adaptation function is se-
lected.
♦ Adaptation can be interrupted by pressing
key 'C' on the V.A.G 1552.
♦ The plant number (workshop code) of the
V.A.G 1551 is stored during adaptation of the
ignition keys by the immobiliser control.
