PUMP SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 1. Only use the pump in the manner described in these instructions. 2. These pumps are designed to pump water only. Never use for pumping flammable liquids or corrosive chemicals of any kind. 3. An approved Residual Current Device (RCD) must be used when pumping from ponds or swimming pools. -

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS WARNING! Read these electrical safety instructions thoroughly before connecting the product to the mains supply. Before switching the pump on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate. This product is designed to operate on 230VAC 50Hz. -

Because of the variety of possible installations, no plumbing accessories are supplied as standard with your pump. However, accessories designed specifically for this range of pumps are available from your CLARKE dealer and are listed on page 10. The pump must always be installed and operated in a horizontal position i.e. - Page 7 The CBM100SS units is set up as a BOOSTER pump by utilising an air chamber with a pressure regulator to provide a constant pressure at the outlet. (for optional accessories - see your Clarke dealer for details).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE This pump should require no maintenance other than regular cleaning. If the pump shows signs of wear or damage, contact your CLARKE dealer for advice. Do not use the pump if there is any damage to the mains supply cable. -
