Start Pinging from the Power Submenu
You can also start pinging from the Power submenu.
SOLIX Series
1. Press the POWER key.
2. Tap Sonar.
3. Select 360 Pinging. Tap the On/Off button, or press the
ENTER key, to turn it on.

Stop Pinging

It is important to stop pinging the MEGA 360 Imaging transducer when it is not in use.
Stop Pinging from the X-Press Menu
SOLIX Series
1. With the 360 View displayed on-screen, press the MENU
key once, or tap Sonar (360) on the status bar.
2. Select 360 Pinging. Tap the On/Off button, or press the
ENTER key, to turn it off.
Stop Pinging from the Status Bar (SOLIX only)
1. With a 360 View or 360 Imaging Combo View displayed on the screen, tap PING OFF on the MEGA 360 status bar.
Pinging On/Off from the Status Bar (SOLIX)
HELIX Series
1. Press the POWER key.
2. Select 360 Pinging, and press the RIGHT Cursor key to
select On.
Pinging from the Power Submenu (HELIX)
HELIX Series
1. With a 360 View or 360 Imaging Combo View displayed on
the screen, press the MENU key once.
2. Select 360 Pinging, and press the LEFT Cursor key to
select Off.
