  • Page 2 SQUEEZE OPERATION HANDLES TOGETHER CAUTION: Crimp only the Molex terminals Figure 1 listed in the scope for this tool. Do not crimp hardened objects because damage can occur to the tool frame or crimp dies. Open the tool by squeezing the handles together. At the end of the closing stroke, the ratchet mechanism will release the handles and the hand tool will spring open.

To re-certify, crimp a terminal to a wire that has been stripped 12.7mm (.50”) long so that there is no crimping of the insulation.
