Setting up the Double Grinder

Before undertaking any work on the machine,
pull the power plug.
1.
Before start-up the visor (2) and the spark
deflector (1) must be attached to both
grinding stones. The work piece support (7)
must not be further away from the grinding
stone than 2 mm. Check this distance
regularly while using the grinder because
the diameter of the stone decreases over
time during use.
2.
The visor (2) is installed together with the
spark deflector (1). The spark deflector
should be mounted as close to the stone as
possible to be effective.

Attaching the Double Grinder to the Work Bench

1.
To attach the grinder use nuts and M6 screws which are approximately
15 – 20 mm longer than your work top is thick.
2.
Attach the grinder with the provided mounting holes (6) and the screws to
the work bench.

Intended Operation

The double grinder is designed for dry grinding only.
Both vitrified bonded grinding stones are suitable for grinding
metal and hard metal.

Grinding

The double grinder is equipped with a fine and a coarse grinding stone.
1. Turn the unit on with the ON/OFF switch (5). Both stones are simultane-
ously driven by the motor.
2. When using the double grinder for the first time, operate it for 5 minutes
without load.
3. Always rest the work piece on the work piece support (7) during work.
Without the support you might loose control of the work piece and it may
even be thrown from your hand.
