Assembling and Setting up the Grinder

Before undertaking any work on the machine, pull the power plug.

Setting up the Grinder

Before start-up the work piece support (7) and the
visor (5) must be attached to both grinding wheels.
1. Mount the work piece support with the
included screw with the plastic turn knob.
Check this distance regularly while using the
grinder because the diameter of the wheel
decreases over time during use.
2. Next, install the visor and use the included
screw with the plain hex nut to mount. The
visor and its holder are mounted to the inners
side of the hood with the long hex screw and
the retainer.

Attaching the Grinder to the Work Bench

1. To attach the grinder to the work bench, use M8 screws which are
approximately 20 – 25 mm longer than your work top is thick.
2. Mark and drill the four mounting holes through the work top. Insert the
screws into the holes in the feet of the unit and the work top from above.
3. Secure the screws from below with a washer, a spring washer and an M8
nut.

Replacing the Grinding Wheels

1. To replace the grinding wheel, loosen the three Allen head screws on the
outer side of the guard and remove the outer part or remove the water
through.
2. Now loosen the main retaining nut of the stone with a suitable open end or
ring spanner. Hold the grinding wheel in place to keep shaft and wheel
from turning and to be able to loosen the nut.
3. After the nut has been removed, the outer flange and the grinding wheel
with the paper liners can be pulled off the shaft.
