Fit additional pipes (max. DN70) if necessary
L Additional connections (inlets, conduit pipes, ventilation pipes) must be made
at least at the height of the pre-drilled inlets.
L Pipes which are routed outside the marked pre-scored areas (free surfaces,
see adjacent figure B) must be sealed using a conduit pipe seal (art. nos.
850114, 850116). In order to guarantee the statics, only free surfaces may
be pre-scored and a minimum gap to other connections (10 cm) must be
observed.
1 If no ventilation takes place through the cover, a separate ventilation pipe
must be laid (via the roof).
▶ Mark the required inlets, check alignment.
▶ Check whether the inlets are to be fitted on a flat surface (A - free surface) or
a rounded surface (B). In the case of rounded surfaces, a conduit pipe seal
(art. nos. 850114, 850116) is required in place of a connection socket. Make
sure there are sufficient connection sockets and conduit pipe seals available.
▶ Select a drill with a suitable hole saw (art. no. 500101).
▶ Clean the pre-scoring surface.
▶ Drill the hole with the hole saw in accordance with the drilling instructions. ➊
▶ Fit the additional socket (art. no. 39005) as described above. ➋
