Changing a Container (continued)
To replace a container when a Limit Reached or Container Empty screen appears:
1. Check the actual amount of material remaining in the container.
2. Based on the amount remaining, choose one of the following options:
• To change the container—Perform the steps under "To change a container
at any time with an equally sized full container." The controller resets the
Remaining amount to the value of the full container size.
• To continue dispensing without changing the container—press ESC and
continue dispensing until the container is actually empty. If the calculated
residual value = zero, the Container Empty screen appears.
NOTES:
• The dispensing process is not automatically interrupted. A new signal is not
sent to the PLC. Make sure to check the remaining amount of material and
replace the container in a timely manner.
• When a Limit Reach or Container Empty screen appears, the dispensing process is not interrupted. The
controlling PLC receives the OUT_FAULT_PLC status signal from the PICO controller.
