Set Up Cell Visibility Parameters for Each Channel
During initialization or cell selection, you can optimize the visibility of all the
candidate cells at once for each selected channel. Tap any chamber to display the
Low Contrast Limit and High Contrast Limit feature. In this example, the channel is
called Universal and the detection site contains a single candidate cell with high
visibility:
If you adjust the visibility based on this candidate cell on display, the visibility is
changed for all the candidate cells on display in the channel. If no candidate cells are
visible in the detection sites, adjust the contrast. If no candidate cells are visible in
the detection sites after adjusting the contrast, tap Load Cells to reload a new set of
cells.
Set Up the Dose and Feed or Time Course Step
NOTE
In a No Treatment experiment, you proceed directly from the Cell Selection
step to the Post Stain/Wash step, by-passing the treatment step entirely. For this
type of experiment, treatment options are unavailable.
An experiment that contains a treatment step allows you to perform either a Dose
and Feed step or a Time Course step. You can set the parameters for these
treatment steps and also specify feeding intervals before and after dosing. The
differences in the 2 steps are as follows:
Function
Treatment groups
Dosing delivery
Medium delivery
