Polaris: User Guide
Possible Cause
• Error loading the IFC
• Script fails to run
Sleeping mode
Recommended Action
1 If an error message displays, then perform appropriate
action as directed there.
2 If "Insufficient vacuum" displays, clean the chuck, and
then restart the run. (See Clean the Thermal Cycler
Chuck on page 44.)
3 If an error message does not display, ensure that:
•
There is an interface plate in the instrument.
•
The barcode of the IFC was read correctly.
•
The tray has retracted and ejected properly from the
instrument.
•
The script is running.
After the error is resolved, the status indicator stops
blinking red.
1 If steps 1–3 do not correct the problem, reboot by
switching power OFF at the rear of the instrument, wait
10 seconds, switch power ON, and restart the run. (See
Components of the Polaris System on page 7.)
2 If the system fails to recover, contact Fluidigm
Technical Support
.
Press the status indicator once to wake the instrument. The
status indicator stops blinking and the screen displays.
