Input Volume
Adjust the volume of sample to be loaded onto
inlets one or more of 1 through 5 of the IFC. The
volume setting that you choose now must match
the volume that you later pipet into the IFC. See
the recommended amount of input cells based on
cell population purity in the Polaris mRNA Seq
Protocol (PN 101-0082).
Set Up the Cell Population Parameters
When you tap Cell Population 1 or Cell Population 2, the lower area of the screen
appears, where you can set up the cell population parameters for the Cell Selection
step. Tap any box and change the default parameters if needed as described in
Table
. When you are finished, tap anywhere above the area of the cell population
parameters area. Repeat for each cell population, as needed.

during selection of the target population.
Alias
Enter a name for each channel used.
Lower Bound
(This can be adjusted later.) For each selected
channel, set the minimum intensity value of
fluorescent stained cells for the selection.
Upper Bound
(This can be adjusted later.) For each selected
channel, set the maximum intensity value of
fluorescent stained cells for the selection.
