1.2 Processor and Chipset Overview

Built upon the functionality and capability of the 10th Gen Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3, Pentium, and
Celeron series (LAG1200 processor and the Intel PCH Z490 chipset, the C9Z490-PG/-PGW
motherboard provides system performance, power efficiency, and feature sets to address the
needs of next-generation computer users.
With the support of the new Intel Microarchitecture 14nm Process Technology, the
C9Z490-PG/-PGW dramatically increases system performance for a multitude of server
applications.

Recovery from AC Power Loss

The Basic I/O System (BIOS) provides a setting that determines how the system will respond
when AC power is lost and then restored to the system. You can choose for the system to
remain powered off (in which case you must press the power switch to turn it back on), or for
it to automatically return to the power-on state. Refer to the
