1.2 Processor and Chipset Overview

Built upon the functionality and capability of the Xeon E-2400 processor and the C266 chipset,
the X13SCD-F motherboard provides system performance, power efficiency, and feature sets
to address the needs of next-generation computer users.
With the support of the new Intel Microarchitecture 14 nm Process Technology, the X13SCD-F
dramatically increases system performance for a multitude of applications.
The Intel CPU Xeon E-2400 and PCH C266 chipset support the following features:
Intel TXT
Intel Turbo Boost and Rapid Storage Technology
Intel Boot Guard Technology
Intel Hyper-Threading, Intel VT-d, and VT-x
PCI Express 4.0/5.0, SATA 3.0, USB 3.2

1.3 Special Features

Recovery from AC Power Loss

The Basic I/O System (BIOS) provides a setting that determines how the system will respond
when AC power is lost and then restored to the system. You can choose for the system to
remain powered off (in which case you must press the power switch to turn it back on), or
for it to automatically return to the power-on state. See the Advanced BIOS Setup section
for this setting. The default setting is Last State.
