7.2 Touchscreen Drape

Introduction

The monitor is draped using the sterile Touchscreen Drape provided by Brainlab.
Purpose
Thus you can intraoperatively access all software functions and position monitor during surgery with-
out compromising the sterile field.
The Touchscreen Drape is delivered sterile. Ensure that the packaging does not have any holes

Dispose of the Touchscreen Drape after use.

Before use, check expiration date on packaging. If date has expired, do not use drape
but dispose it of.
Maintaining the sterile field can only be guaranteed by using the Brainlab Touch-
screen Drape. Using other drapes may cause monitor to malfunction.
Carefully drape touchscreen. The drape maintains the surgeon's sterile field and pro-
vides a sterile barrier between patient and touchscreen.
