1. Ensure that software has been closed.
2. Shutdown the system.
3. Turn off the system by pressing the I/O switch.
4. Disconnect system from power supply.
NOTE: Some internal fans remain on as long as the system is connected to mains power.
5. Unplug and secure all cables.
When disconnecting the system from line voltage, wait at least 10 seconds before re-
connecting it.
Do not turn off the system during boot-up. Otherwise, configuration files and other
data on the hard disk may be damaged.
Failure to follow system shutdown procedure prior to disconnecting power may result
in an irreversible loss of data.
To ensure complete disconnection from the power supply, unplug the power plug.
In case of an emergency shutdown, turn off the system by pressing the I/O switch and
unplug the power supply cable.
