Electrical system
Remove the 4 screws and remove the
entire shaft unit.

Dismantle the ignition module and the
centrifugal clutch.

Remove the nut holding the fl ywheel.

Dismantle the fl ywheel.

Remove the 4 screws holding the clutch
cover against the crankcase.
Lift out the entire shaft unit.
Remove the screws (A) holding the igni-
tion module and both the screws (B) hold-
ing the centrifugal clutch.
Remove the clutch and the ignition mod-
ule.
Note the spacer washers lying between
the fl ywheel and the clutch and the spacer
sleeves between the ignition module and
the cylinder.
Remove the nut holding the fl ywheel.
Fit the pulling device (502 51 49-02) onto
the fl ywheel (use the screws holding the
clutch securely on the fl ywheel).
Loosen and remove the nut.
Dismantle the fl ywheel from the crankshaft
using pulling device no. 502 51 49-02.
Use the screws and the fl at washers hold-
ing the clutch securely on the fl ywheel.
Tap the pulling device screw lightly with a
hammer so the fl ywheel sits tightly on the
crankshaft.
