7. 4. 4 Insufflation vorbereiten

Betriebsparameter für Insufflationsmodus*,
Druck und Flow eingeben.
1. Klicken Sie im Arbeitsbereich auf die
Schaltfläche »High-Flow« oder »Sensitive« um
den Modus auszuwählen.
2. Stellen Sie die Sollwerte für Druck und Flow
über die ± Tasten ein.
*Der ENDOFLATOR ® 40 stellt 2 verschiedene
Insufflationsmodi zur Verfügung:
• High-Flow (Symbol »Mann«)
• Sensitive (Symbol »Baby«)

HINWEIS: Um die bei komplizierten Ope-
rationen auftretenden starken Gasverluste
auszugleichen, wurde der High-Flow Modus
mit einer Flow-Leistung von bis zu 40 l/min
ausgestattet.
Für besonders sensible Anwendungen bietet
das Gerät den Modus »Sensitive« an, des-
sen Regelung sich durch einen niedrigeren
Insuf ationsdruck sowie spezielle Sicher-
heitsgrenzen im Druck- (bis max. 15 mmHg)
und Flussbereich (bis max. 15 l/ min) aus-
zeichnet.

WARNUNG: Überprüfen Sie immer die
eingestellte Betriebsart. Verwenden Sie
aus Sicherheitsgründen die Betriebsart
»Sensitive«, wenn der benötigte Kavitäts-
druck kleiner gleich 15 mmHg ist und ein
maximaler Fluss von 15 l/min ausreicht.

7. 4. 4 Preparing insufflation

Enter the operating parameters for the
insufflation mode*, pressure and flow.
1. In the Working screen click on the 'High Flow'
or 'Sensitive' button to select the mode.
2. Set the setpoint values for the pressure and
flow using the ± buttons.
*The ENDOFLATOR ® 40 is equipped with
two different insufflation modes:
• High Flow ('man' symbol)
• Sensitive ('baby' symbol)

NOTE: To compensate for the considerable
loss of gas occurring in complex operations,
the High-Flow mode has been tted with a
ow rate of up to 40 l/min.
For particularly sensitive applications, the
device features a 'SENSITIVE' mode which is
characterized by low insuf ation pressure as
well as special safety limits in the pressure
(up to max. 15 mmHg) and ow ranges (up
to max. 15 l/min).

WARNING: Always check the mode set.
For safety reasons, use the 'Sensitive'
mode if the required cavity pressure
is smaller or equal to 15 mmHg and a
maximum ow of 15 l/min is suf cient.

Introducción de parámetros de servicio para
el modo de insuflación*, presión y flujo
1. Para seleccionar el modo, haga clic sobre el
botón "High-Flow" o "Sensitive" dentro del
Área de trabajo.
2. Prosiga ajustando los valores nominales de
presión y de flujo usando las teclas ±.
*El ENDOFLATOR ® 40 dispone de 2 modos de
insuflación diferentes:
• High-Flow (símbolo de "hombre")
• Sensitive (símbolo de "bebé")

NOTA: A n de compensar las fuertes pérdi-
das de gas que suelen producirse en el caso
de intervenciones quirúrgicas complicadas,
se ha equipado el modo "High Flow" con
una potencia de ujo hasta 40 l/min.
Para las aplicaciones particularmente delica-
das, el aparato ofrece el modo "SENSITIVE",
el cual se caracteriza por regularse con una
presión de insu ación más baja y con unos
límites de seguridad especí cos en los ran-
gos de presión (15 mmHg como máximo) y
de ujo (15 l/min como máximo).

CUIDADO: Compruebe siempre el modo
de servicio que se haya ajustado. Por
razones de seguridad, utilice el modo de
servicio "Sensitive" siempre que se requie-
ra una presión cavitaria inferior o igual a
15 mmHg y sea su ciente un ujo máximo
de 15 l/min.
