Resin Leveling and Refill System
The Viper Pro contains a resin-leveling system that monitors the resin level within the RDM.
When the resin falls below the prescribed range, the 3D Print Software notifies the user to add
resin. The Viper Pro adds resin using the Auto Resin Refill System.
Resin Leveling System
A small diode laser and sensor monitors the resin level. Located at the rear of the RDM, the
sensor reads the diode laser as it reflects off the current resin level and provides feedback
regarding the level within the RDM. To maintain the resin level properly in relation to the laser
and platform, an electronic assembly controls the RDM lifters. These lifters move the module up
or down, according to the fluctuation of the resin level within the RDM. If the electronic assembly
does not raise the RDM to meet the optimum resin level, the 3D Print Software notifies the user to
add resin or to remove resin.
To add resin manually, refer to "Adding Resin Manually." To add resin automatically, refer to
"Auto Resin Refill System."
Resin Manual Addition
The following procedure allows the user to add resin manually to the RDM. If the message, "Add
resin until prompted to stop," appears on your monitor, you must add resin to the RDM.
Caution!
Before adding resin, you must verify which type of resin is currently in use. Do not
mix resin types!
