Air leak in intake hose
Air leak at pump housing

Solution
Check oil level, replace as neces-
sary
Replace oil pressure sender
Change engine oil, refer to engine
operating manual
Refer to engine operating manual

Check coolant level, replace as nec-
essary
Replace temperature sender
Refer to engine operating manual,
replace components as necessary
Refer to engine operating manual

Reduce engine speed, lower intake
hose
Relocate and/or straighten intake
hose
Lower intake hose
Inspect intake hoses and couplings
for damage or missing components
and seals
Inspect gaskets, seals and O-rings
at pump intake flange, clean out
cover and priming port
Inspect magnetic pickup for damage/
alignment
Refill fuel tank with clean diesel fuel
Allow engine to cool. Check coolant
level in radiator. Add coolant until it
is 3/4 in. (19 mm) below the filler
neck
