Resetting the Controller
Hold the far right button to enter the Configuration

menu.
Enter password 4444.

Enter Display.

Select service interval to change and reset.

Storage
The unit is adequately prepared for outside storage prior
to shipment. Use the following list of additional suggestions
for extended storage.
Extended Storage Preparation
Disconnect the battery cables.

Store the unit off the ground so no water will

accumulate around the equipment.
Protect the unit from blowing sand and dirt.
3.
Stack no other items on top of the pump
4.
equipment.
Protect the unit from the entry of any animals.
5.
Periodically rotate shaft to lubricate bearings and

protect bearings from brinelling.

Verify all bare metal areas are coated with a rust

Inspect unit every four weeks and replace drying

agents (Silica Gel) as required, or a minimum of

removed. Also, remove any foreign material that
may have accumulated during storage.

Drain all water from the main pump piping,

including the suction line and discharge line.
Remove the volute drain plug and vent plug to
empty the pump casing.
Verify correct oil level in the engine and seal oil

reservoir. Add oil as necessary.
Add grease to the main pump bearing frame

fittings. Three to six strokes at each fitting with a
hand grease gun should be sufficient.
Jog the main pump motor for 10 to 15 seconds.
16.
Install all plugs removed for draining.

Winter Storage
Follow the steps in
Extended Storage
Occasional
motor
starts
recommended. Run the unit until it reaches operating
temperature. This will help to replace and maintain a
lubricating film on the bearings and operating parts.
Restart Preparation
In installations where winter shutdown and storage is the
normal situation, it is recommended that lubricating oil and
seal barrier oil be drained and replaced to correct levels
before the beginning of each new season.

Add fresh grease to the main bearing frame and
vacuum pump pedestal fittings
•
Check all gasketed flanges, especially those on
the suction side of the pump, for bolt tightness to
eliminate the effect of air leaks on the priming time.
