Talkback and Oscillator

Talkback Connections
The C200 console contains a built-in talkback microphone and amplifier. In addition, a second input is available for
connection to an external dynamic microphone. This input is mixed with the internal T/B mic and the combined signal is
available via an XLR connector on the audio interface panel beneath the console. The overall level is controlled by the
'Talkback' control on the master status panel. This signal should be connected to an analogue input circuit in the Centuri
processor. The circuit chosen can then be assigned as the talkback source via the console's routing.
The gain of each mic signal can be independently adjusted.Access to the trim controls is from beneath the console on the
console interface panel.
The external mic input is via a 3-pin XLR female labelled 'Ext T/B Mic In'.
The mixed T/B output is via a 3-pin XLR Male labelled 'Talkback Output'.
Oscillator Connections
The C200 console includes an inbuilt analogue oscillator. The output is available on a male XLR connector located on the
audio connector panel. This signal should be wired to an available circuit on the analogue input card.
Alternatively, an external oscillator (either analogue or digital, mono or stereo) may be used. In this instance one or two
circuits should be allocated on an input card, they can then be assigned in software.
Refer to Appendix C for connector pinouts.
