Reattaching the CIS assembly
(1) Reattach each CIS assembly in the reverse order in which it was detached.
(2) Use a CIS sensor of the same rank when replacing a CIS sensor.
CIS sensor rank is indicated on the CIS sensor unit.
If there is no rank shown on the sensor, you had better replace all five sensors.
(3) Spread a suitable quantity of the silicon grease to the left and right CIS sensor holder and the CIS
sensor shaft.
Spread a suitable quantity of the silicon grease to these area.
(4) Perform the software adjustment.
When replacing the CIS assembly, be sure to clean the interior of the image sensor unit and the inside of the
contact glass assembly. A soiled or dusty unit can affect scanning performance.
