3.3.3 3-point linkage

The safety instructions from Chapter 3.3 apply.
Only perform work on the sweeping machine with
the engine switched off and the hydraulics de-
pressurised. Pull the ignition key and secure the
carrier vehicle against unintended start-up and
movement.
Check the 3-point linkage for soiling. Clean if
necessary.
N O T E
• Drive the carrier vehicle to within 300 mm of the Gigant
sweeping machine.
• Fasten bolt diameter (1) or (2) according to the
attachment category of the vehicle manufacturer and
secure with spring plug.
• Select bolt diameter (3) or (4) according to the
attachment category and secure with spring plug (5).
• Hook the upper hook and secure according to the
speciications of the vehicle manufacturer.
The upper hook is to be set so that the
attachment receptacle is perpendicular to the
ground.
N O T E
Verify the correct seating of the attachment
receptacle.
• Connect the hydraulic lines according to the instructions
ATTENTION
of the vehicle manufacturer.
• Connect the electrical connection line for the water
spraying device or illumination system at the cabinet in
the carrier vehicle.
• Lift the sweeping machine and carry out a functionality
check.
