3.3.1 Initial attachment

During the initial attachment of the Gigant
sweeping machine with water spraying device or
illumination system, the cabinet is to be mounted at
a suitable position in the carrier vehicle.
• Connect cable (3) to the battery (---).
• Connect cable (4) to the parking light terminal.
• Socket (5) for the electric connection line of the Gigant
sweeping machine.
• (1) Fuse.
• (2) Off - On switch.

3.3.2 Quick change receptacle

The safety instructions from Chapter 3.3 apply.
Only perform work on the sweeping machine with
the engine switched off and the hydraulics de-
pressurised. Pull the ignition key and secure the
carrier vehicle against unintended start-up and
movement.
Check the receptacle for soiling. Clean if

necessary.
• Drive the carrier vehicle to within 300 mm of the Gigant
sweeping machine.
• Lower the receptacle bolt of the carrier vehicle until
below the receptacle openings (1) of the Gigant
sweeping machine.
• Approach with the carrier vehicle and raise the lifting
gear.
• Insert the locking bolts into the drill holes (2).
Check the receptacle bolt and the locking
ATTENTION
bolts for proper seating.
• Connect the hydraulic lines according to the instructions
of the vehicle manufacturer.
• Connect the electrical connection line for the water
spraying device or illumination system at the cabinet in
the carrier vehicle.
• Lift the sweeping machine and carry out a functionality
check.
