1-4. JBOD connections (Optional)


Setup the JBOD Expansions
 Locate the rotary ID switch on the JBOD's front panel.

Use a small flat blade screwdriver to set a unique ID on the JBOD expansion system.
IMPORTANT! When setting an ID on the JBOD system, you must start from 1. Use the same JBOD
models if you want to attach more storage expansions. Refer to CS Expansion Guide for more
information

Install the new expansion enclosure to the rack

Connecting JBOD Expansions (Example)

Connect CS onboard SAS IN port to the OUT port on the expansion enclosure.

Connect expansion enclosure (1) SAS IN port to the OUT port on the expansion enclosure (2).
The following picture shows the example for connecting CS 3016 with JB 3016
