6-5. Connecting Extension Consoles
9. Phase Adjustment
1. Move the transfer to the extension console side and
move the phase adjustment pin of the basic console to
its adjustment position.
2. Push the X slider (top)/(bottom) against the phase adjust-
ment pin and check the clearance at the top and bottom.
Specifications : Clearance must be 0.1 mm or less.
If the clearance does not meet the specifications,
loosen the hexagonal head cap bolt (M5 x 12) that is
tightened in step 11 of "8. Installing the X Belt", and
perform adjustment until the specifications are met.
Thickness gauge 0.1 mm cannot be entered.

3. Return the phase adjustment pin to its original posi-
tion.
Tightening torque : 0.8 N.m (8 kgf.cm)

Be sure to return the phase adjustment pin to the
original position.
4. Remove the screwdriver, etc. that were used to fix the
carrier position and move the carrier to its original
position.
5. Remove the shipping metal of the Z-axis.
