7.7 Adjusting the differential feed

The differential feed prevents unwanted seam puckering or seam waves in knitted or stretchy fabrics as well
as shifting of fabric layers. The rear feed dog always maintains the same speed, while the front feed dog can
be adjusted. The two feed dogs can be geared to each other during the sewing process so that the fabric is
fed as desired and no waves or unwanted puckering occur.
To enable a «blind operation», the setting range is displayed larger when the machine is running.
> Set differential feed proportion of the front feed dog via the differential feed setting.
The setting describes the ratio of momvement of front feed dog relative to the rear feed dog.
