The HEATER on/off switch turns the power to
the instrument heater on and off (see Figure
1.2). The switch should be in the ON position
before you start an experiment. If the HEATER
switch is off, the run will not start.
The light in the HEATER switch will glow only when
an experiment is in progress or when the tempera-
ture is being controlled by a method-end condition.
The POWER on/off switch turns the power to
the instrument on and off (see Figure 1.2).
