Adjusting the Transmission Level

The transmission level of the INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer at the
leased line can be adjusted. This may be necessary to ensure flawless data transmissions
via the leased line. For longer two-wire lines, a lower transmitting level than the preset
one may be reasonable, as reflections and echoes in the line may impede the communi-
cation between the devices. For short four-wire lines, a transmitting level that is too high
will cause distortions. The unit of the dimension transmission level is -dBm.
By factory default, the transmission level is set to -15 dBm.
Configuration with AT commands
To set a transmission level, use the
