a) The INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer is switched off.
b) The INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer is not in configura-
tion mode.
c) The INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer is connected to a
different serial port.
Check it and repeat step 2.
5. Configure the INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer with the
help of the AT commands.

A reference of the AT commands can be found in the chapter "AT Com-
mand Reference".
6. Save your entries with AT&W.

Not all settings at the INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer
must be actively stored by entering AT&W. Some settings are automatically
saved immediately. We still recommend sending the command AT&W to the
INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer as your last configura-
tion step to ensure that all settings are stored safely and are available for
the next restart.
7. Enter ATZ.

The modem will respond with OK, the OH LED will light up again.

As an alternative, press the reset key for 1 second.

After a short time, the INSYS Modem 336 LL 2D/4D 5.x Originate / Answer
will re-establish the connection to the remote terminal, you will receive the
response CONNECT and the DCD LED lights up.
