Link monitoring
As soon as both Ethernet cables are pulled with enabled Link monitoring, the
communication is finished by the IM 053MT, BASP (Befehls-Ausgabe-Sperre, i.e.
command output disable) is activated and this is indicated with flashing SB LED.
Link monitoring reacts only when both Ethernet cables are pulled.
n
Communication timeout
At Communication Timeout [ms] you can specify a timeout value for Ethernet
communication in ms.
If there is no Modbus/TCP communication for the specified time, BASP is set on
the System SLIO bus.
With the value 0, you can deactivate the time monitoring.
n
IO cycle
With IO cycle, you can specify the cycle for the System SLIO bus within which the
I/O image is to be refreshed.
With the value 0 you can set the maximum possible cycle time (no delay).
