ESA500 and ESA501 Premium electronic door fittings

General
The ESA 500 / ESA 5001 electronic door fitting is a door fitting with a keypad for

entering access codes which is typically used for doors located indoors with a
European (DIN) mortise lock. The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is an
advancement of the successful Aperio™ door fitting series E100 / E100P.
The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is installed horizontally in wooden or
metal frame doors with European (DIN) mortise locks. A 3 V battery inside the
door fitting serves as power supply. No cables have to be laid.
The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is available in the versions "Standard"
Two versions
and "Premium". The "Premium" is suitable for external doors and offers the
properties of the "Standard" version combined with increased security and is also
suitable for fire doors and escape routes.
Functions
The door is opened from the outside by entering an authorized door code. The

Based on the Aperio™ E100P fitting with the same design, the ESA501 Premium
also offers:
∙ Usage category 3 in accordance with DIN EN 1906,
∙ Approval for fire doors according to DIN 18273,
∙ Approval for escape routes according to DIN EN 179,
∙ can also be installed in external doors.
