Programming

Overview

The following settings can be made in programming mode:
∙ assigning and deleting door codes,
∙ allocating rights,
∙ changing the release interval,
∙ change code length,
∙ changing the programming code,
∙ activating and deactivating the permanent lock function,
∙ setting special functions (hotel and carrier function).
Master code
A random access and programming code (master code) is already set in the
factory (Seite 43).

Entering and exiting the programming mode

Entering the programming mode
1 Enter 99 and confirm with the  key.
2 Enter the programming code and confirm with the  key.
9 The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is in programming mode.
Exiting the programming mode
1 Press the X key three times.
9 The signal LED flashes green twice.
9 The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is in normal operation.
Note!
Exit programming mode automatically: The programming mode is exited auto-
matically after 30 seconds with no inputs.
