Replacing the batter y
1 First, remove the internal door handle and then the internal door fitting
(Pic. 1).
2 Insert a new battery.
3 Fix the internal door fitting first of all, followed by the internal door handle.
4 Check the lock for ease of movement.
5 Check all functions of the ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting.
9 The ESA500 / ESA501 electronic door fitting is ready.

Disposal

Packaging materials must be recycled. The product must be disposed of as
electronic scrap.
Batteries must not be disposed of as household waste and must be handed in at
battery collection points
Note!
Note on the German Battery Act (BattG): You are legally obliged to return used
batteries. Used batteries may contain hazardous substances which can harm the
environment or your health if stored or disposed of incorrectly. Batteries also
contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can
be recycled.
Local environmental protection regulations must be complied with.
Accessories, warranty, maintenance, disposal
