Symptoms
No rotation after a Cutting

No rotation when the Hand
Switch is depressed.
Rotation when the Hand Switch
is not depressed.

Twist Collet of the Attachment/
Handpiece has been fastened.

Symptoms
No rotation when the Trigger is
depressed.
Rotation when the Trigger is

The Attachment/Handpiece
cannot be mounted.

Causes/Points of checking
The Twist Collet on the Attachment/Handpiece is
OPEN.
· The bearing has seized.
· Foreign substance inside the bearing.
· The bearing is worn out.
Continuous use over a long period.
· The bearing has seized.
· Foreign substance inside the bearing.
· The bearing is worn out.
· The bearing has seized.
· Foreign substance inside the bearing.
· The bearing is worn out.
Causes/Points of checking
Twist Collet of the Attachment/Handpiece is OPEN.
Safety Lock is "ON" .
Safety Lock is "OFF".
The Hand Switch cannot get back to the specified
position due to foreign substances.
The bearing has seized ; Foreign substances are
obstructing the bearing.
Continuous use over a long period.
· The bearing has seized.
· Foreign substance inside the bearing.
· The bearing is worn out.
· The bearing has seized.
· Foreign substance inside the bearing.
· The bearing is worn out.
Causes/Points of checking
The Safety Lock is "ON".
The Safety Lock is "OFF" .
The Trigger cannot get back to the specified position
due to foreign substances.
The insertion is deformed.
Continuous use over a long period.

· The bearing has seized.

Countermeasures
After inserting the Cutting Accessories, fasten the
Twist Collet. Turn it in the direction of ' '
Contact your dealer.
Stop operating the Attachment/Handpiece and
Motor immediately. Wait until the
Attachment/Handpiece and Motor cool down
before continuing to operate.

Countermeasures
After inserting the Cutting Accessories, fasten the
Twist Collet. Turn it in the direction of ' '
Release the safety Lock.
