2. Put the other end of the CAN bus cable in the
connector on the electrical box door.
3. Tighten the connector screws for the CAN bus cable
by hand.
To start the product with remote control
CAUTION: Move the product all the time
while the grinding head is on. If you do not
move the product, the surface can become
rough.
1. Turn the locking pins on the left and the right wheel
until the pin of the locking pin aligns with the notch.

WARNING: Make sure that the 2 locking
pins are aligned correctly. If only 1
locking pin engages, there is a risk of
injury and damage when the product
starts.
2. Turn the emergency stop button (A) on the remote
control clockwise to make sure that the emergency
stop button is disengaged.
3. Push the ON/OFF button (B) on the remote control.
The remote control is on when the display comes on.

4. Turn the STOP/RUN switch (C) on the remote
control to STOP.
5. Turn the ON/OFF switch (D) on the control panel to
1 to start the product. The LED adjacent to the
ON/OFF switch comes on.
6. Turn the remote control/manual operation switch (E)
on the control panel clockwise for remote control
operation. The LED adjacent to the remote control/
manual operation switch flashes.
7. Turn the STOP/RUN switch on the remote control to
RUN to start the operation. In less than 5 seconds
the product operates at idle speed. The small motor
starts after approximately 2 seconds.
8. Move the joystick to steer the product.
CAUTION: Move the joystick carefully. To
move the joystick with force does not make
the performance of the product better. The
joystick can become damaged if you operate
it with too much force.
CAUTION: Do not lift the remote control by
the joystick.
Note: On abrasive surfaces, it can be necessary to push
the joystick forward to release the surface friction of the
diamond tools.
To operate the product with the remote control
connected with a CAN bus cable
WARNING: Do not use the remote control
connected with a CAN bus cable where
there is a risk that the product falls. The
operator must be disengaged from the
product.
• Connect the CAN bus cable between the remote
control and the product. Refer to
remote control to the product with a CAN bus cable
on page 28 .
