1 Application
The 743A9 Foot casting aid that facilitates negative plaster cast taking of feet, with different heel
heights and adjustable toe pitch in the forefoot.
Field of application: e.g. AFO, KAFO, insoles etc.

3 Function and Description
The foot casting aid serves the precise determination of heel height and toe pitch in the forefoot
during negative plaster cast taking.
Select different heel height plates to dermine the heel height.
INFORMATION
The foot support already has a height of 5 mm!
Maximal heel height is 100 mm (10 cm)
Determine the toe pitch and heel height before taking the plaster cast (fig. 2).
Slightly lubricate the foot support (fig. 3).
Take the plaster cast of the feet in the usual manner (fig. 4-5).
4 Cleaning
If necessary, all components can be cleaned with soap solution and water and then wiped dry.
From time to time, lubricate the guide pins with 633G6 Ottobock Special Lubricant.
5 Liability
The manufacturer's warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for
the purposes described. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used and maintained
according to the instructions for use.
