Paper Empty Detection
The Paper Empty Sensor (PE1) on the upper section of the Multipurpose Tray determines
whether paper is loaded in the tray. When paper is present, the actuator is lifted and the
sensor is deactivated. When the tray has run out of paper, the actuator falls into the cutout
in the tray and the sensor is activated.
