FAQ

Hardware:
1. Why the mobile diagnostic workbench cannot move freely?
Because the parking safety mechanism on the rolling casters has been locked. Step down the left and right
parking safety mechanism upon the rolling casters respectively to release them so that the casters can
move freely.
2. How to elevate the monitor?
Make sure that the mobile diagnostic workbench is powered on, then step on the lifting pedal (UP or
DOWN) to freely adjust the height of the screen.
3. The wireless mouse/keyboard does not work properly.
The wireless mouse and keyboard does not work properly separately. A wireless receiver is included with
the keyboard and the mouse share the same receiver with the keyboard. Please remember to plug the mini
wireless receiver into the USB hub on the diagnostic workbench. Slide the switch on the back of the mouse
& keyboard to ON.
Software:
1. Communication error with vehicle ECU?
Please confirm:
1. Whether the VCI is properly connected.
2. Whether the vehicle ignition switch is ON.
3. If all checks are normal, send vehicle year, make, model and VIN number to us using Feedback feature.
2. Failed to enter into vehicle ECU system?
Please confirm:
1. Whether the vehicle is equipped with the system.
2. Whether the VCI is correctly connected.
3. Whether the vehicle ignition switch is ON.
4. If all checks are normal, send vehicle year, make, model and VIN number to us using Feedback feature.
3. How to activate new VCI device?
*Note: Before registration, please make sure the network is properly connected.
If you have activated a VCI device before and bought a new VCI device due to the loss or other reasons,
please follow the below steps to activate:
1. On the Job Menu screen, tap or click "User Info" -> "Activate VCI".
2. Input product S/N and activation code, which can be found from the included password envelope, then
tap "Activate".
3. After activation completed, the diagnostic tool will automatically wirelessly connect to the VCI device. Tap
or click "User Info" -> "VCI" to check if the activated VCI device is displayed in the connector list or not.
Each diagnostic tool is allowed to bind multiple VCI devices. If you intend to use one of the VCI devices
to diagnose / test a vehicle, just switch to the corresponding VCI device.
4. Why I cannot receive the reminder of the ROXIE W/TPMS reports on the X-431 Station?
Check the following possible reasons:
1. The ROXIE W/Pilot TPMS device does not upload the reports on the server successfully as a result of no
network connection or weak WiFi signal.
2. The ROXIE W device/Pilot TPMS has not been bound to the X-431 Station.
3. The X-431 Station has no network connection.
5. How to bind the ROXIE W/Pilot TPMS device onto the X-431 Station?
